An animated motion picture of the classic Aesop fable “Tortoise vs. Hare” features an ensemble voice cast. Characters include Dotty Tortoise (Vivica A. Fox), Murray Hare (Jay Leno), Walter Tortoise (Danny Glover). The hare, a braggart and blowhard, mocks the tortoise for his slowness, but his arrogance turns out to be his downfall after the tortoise challenges him to a race. The hare takes a nap due to his tremendous lead in the race, but the race between the two ends with an unexpected victor. The moral of the story is to avoid arrogance, and to be steady and persistent, because those are the virtues of a true victor.
